Emmanuel - God with us

It's more than the name of our church.
It's a statement of faith and a reminder of God's promise.

God with us as individuals.
God with us in joy and sorrow.
God with us in trial and rejoicing.
God with us in the teaching, death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior.
God with us in our moments of deepest loneliness.

God with us as a congregation.
God with us in worship, in fellowship, in education, in weddings and in celebrations of lives shared in our midst.
God with us as we serve others in Christ's name.
A promise that there is nothing we can do and nowhere we can go that God will not be with us.

Emmanuel is a call to celebration, comfort and a challenge to service in thanksgiving.
